I've given up on giving up slowly.

Hello, blog. 'Cause I'm sure this is just a note to you.

T minus three seconds until the end of the semester. I'm ready for it to be over, I'm pretty sure. Of course, I'm taking classes right out of the finals chute. Crash course in photography first. I'm a little nervous. I haven't gotten my camera yet. Yikes.

I think I took the first picture on my digital in forever today. I was doing some research in the library, and I found a set of Chaucer's Poetical Works from, like, the late 1800s. They were absolutely beautiful. As a matter of fact, I can't believe I forgot to see what they smell like. Anyhow, I took a few pictures. I'd upload them, but it occurs to me that I haven't even installed my camera's software onto my new computer. I'm really slacking. And I got an email from Flickr a few minutes ago telling me that my pro account is about the give up the ghost. *sigh*

As I'm always accumulating random projects for myself -- most of which I never finish -- I've bought the supplies for a new one! I'm going to knit myself a Gryffindor scarf. *blushy face* I really like them in the newer films, so I'ma make me one. It's going to require lots of new skills like knitting with a circular needle. (Beats me.) And I have to work on the art of changing colors. It'll be an adventure. And considering that it's supposed to be about seven feet long (yes, thankfully there are other nerds out there who have figured out the specs), maybe I'll have it knitted by the time the next scarf season rolls around. Although I think I could've dealt with a scarf today...

Alright. I'm going back to the library to work on one of the research papers. Andmaybeseewhatthosebookssmelllike.
